Job Description

Overview:

As a Hardware Design Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in the development of advanced satellite communication products, contributing to their design, validation, and integration. This position offers a chance to work on innovative projects with a team at the forefront of space exploration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electronic circuits, including schematic capture, component selection, and simulation.
  • Lead and collaborate with internal and external teams for PCB layout design.
  • Deliver manufacturing work packages for both prototype and production-grade hardware.
  • Support the integration, validation, and qualification of hardware, software, and system-level solutions.

Experience and Skills:

  • BSc or equivalent in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Significant commercial experience in hardware product design.
  • Proven track record in developing satellite or payload equipment.
  • Expertise in designing complex, high-speed circuits for high-density, multi-layer PCBs (10+ layers).
  • Proficiency with tools such as Allegro, ADS, SiWave, HFSS, or CST for circuit and PCB design and simulation.
  • Hands-on experience with products that include:
    • Microcontrollers, Digital Signal Processors (DSP), FPGA, or ASIC.
    • High-speed digital interfaces (e.g., SerDes, ADC/DACs).
    • Power supplies and sensors.
    • RF design expertise.
  • Experience with high-reliability systems in industries like Space, Military, or Automotive.
  • Knowledge of DC/DC power supply design.
  • Skills in Verilog/VHDL for board/power/clock management development.
  • Experience developing ASIC prototyping systems with FPGAs.
