Job Description

Overview

Join a global leader in space innovation, driving cutting-edge solutions for on-orbit servicing and sustainable space development. As a Procurement Manager – Satellite Systems, you will have the the opportunity to collaborate with international teams across global offices and interact with world-class suppliers. Occasional travel to meet global suppliers may be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and/or draft procurement and commercial documents, including Statements of Work (SOW), Contracts, and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
  • Support the preparation of technical specifications.
  • Lead or support supplier negotiations to secure the best outcomes.
  • Draft and issue procurement contracts, primarily for UK products.
  • Oversee supplier performance from contract award through delivery completion.
  • Ensure compliance with export controls for procurement to final destinations, including supplier country regulations.
  • Consult with space agencies and industry suppliers to ensure mission success.

What We’re Looking For:

  • BSc or equivalent in Engineering, Procurement, or Business Management.
  • Strong commercial experience in satellite subsystems procurement.
  • Proven ability to prepare and review commercial documents (SOW, Contracts, NDAs).
  • End-to-end procurement lifecycle experience in an engineering product environment.
  • Expertise in managing suppliers, from sourcing to post-delivery.
  • Knowledge of European and US export controls.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills.
