Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Project Delivery: Ensure the successful execution of both internal and external projects, meeting all contractual obligations and deadlines.
- Team Leadership: Manage multidisciplinary teams, guiding them to achieve key project milestones and objectives from start to finish.
- Process Management: Implement and uphold rigorous standards, processes, and controls throughout all project phases, from conceptualization to completion.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with technical, production, validation, and quality teams to coordinate schedules and mitigate risks effectively.
- Client Relations: Maintain strong relationships with clients, enhancing their confidence in the company’s systems and products.
- Documentation: Prepare essential project documentation, including proposals, management plans, and change notices.
- Risk Management: Identify, prioritize, and manage project risks and opportunities, ensuring timely mitigation and resolution.
- Program Oversight: Maintain hands-on control through regular reviews, audits, and meetings, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Business Development Support: Contribute to proposal development and other business growth activities.
Required Experience:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent.
- Industry Experience: Proven experience in managing technical projects within the space industry.
- Project Lifecycle Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the project lifecycle, from bidding through execution and closure.
- Technical Expertise: Familiarity with communications payload technologies and international standards (e.g., ECSS).
- Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of MS Project or similar scheduling tools.
- Communication Skills: Ability to convey complex issues clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Risk Management: Expertise in defining, mitigating, and managing project risks.
- Travel: Willingness to travel as required.
