As we expand our UK footprint, we’re looking for a Senior PA/QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of space systems from concept to launch. You'll work alongside engineering teams, suppliers, and international customers on hardware destined for orbit and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Product and Quality Assurance across the full project lifecycle
- Develop and manage Product Assurance Plans
- Oversee materials, parts, and process assurance
- Support design, integration, testing, and delivery of spaceflight hardware
- Participate in supplier and customer reviews and audits
- Drive non-conformance and risk management processes
- Contribute to QMS initiatives and continuous improvement
- Serve as the main PA/QA contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Support proposal and bid development
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Engineering or related field
- Strong experience in QA within space, aerospace, or defence sectors
- Knowledge of ECSS standards and space system lifecycles
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, and root cause analysis techniques
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in supplier quality management
- Background in satellite, optical, robotic systems, or electronics manufacturing
