Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Product Marketing Manager with a strong technical background and commercial acumen. This role is ideal for someone who can translate complex technology into customer-focused, benefits-driven products. As the Technical Product Champion, you will act as the go-to expert for our product offerings, collaborating with sales teams and key customers to drive product success and market adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Development: Create and translate technical content into customer-focused materials, including bids, white papers, brochures, and user guides.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Assist in defining product positioning, key benefits, and target customers.
  • Marketing Collateral: Work with the Marketing team to develop and update sales collateral, user guides, FAQs, and other essential documents.
  • Product Launches: Coordinate with marketing to produce materials for new product launches, including literature, presentations, and process documents.
  • Market Research: Conduct research to specify market requirements for current and future products.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with engineering teams on product evaluations and development, and provide technical support during customer interactions.
  • Project Management: Manage internal projects, capture requirements for software development, and conduct internal training.
  • Competitor Analysis: Analyze competitors and produce relevant internal and external materials.

Qualifications:

Mandatory:

  • Technical Product Management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of IP networking and mobile satellite communications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience managing hardware suppliers and assessing product capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with modern digital satellite communications and IT systems.
  • Knowledge of VSAT networks and infrastructure.
  • Exposure to operating systems like Linux and Windows.
